Starting on dayshift for day 1 induction, then moving straight onto a 2 shift rotation, this person must be a confident MIG welder able to read engineering drawings without assistance.
The work ranges from day to day using many different material types and thicknesses ranging from 0.9mm – 20mm mild steel & 1mm – 3mm stainless steel.
Please note that this role will predominately involve working with mild steel.
The candidate should have at least 12 months welding experience in sheet metal or similar type environment.
Must be comfortable reading and interpreting weld symbols. Must be able to work free hand as well as using jigs and fixtures.
