DIN 2303 specifically addresses the unique and critical requirements of military applications, where high stress, varying temperatures, and potential combat situations necessitates welding of the highest integrity. Hydram was qualified to DIN 2303, Q2 BK2 in March 2025, after an audit by TÜV Nord.
Din 2303 is designed specifically for qualifying manufacturers that produce welded components that are used in military applications, such as ships, submarines and other vehicles. In March 2025 Hydram was successful in achieving DIN 2303 at its first audit with TÜV Nord, a globally recognized certification body with extensive experience in the defence sector.
