We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Shopfloor Quality Gate Operator to join our manufacturing team.
In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out quality inspections at designated quality gates on the shopfloor, ensuring products meet customer specifications and company quality standards before progressing to the next stage of manufacture.

• Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of welding-based components at designated quality gates on the shopfloor.
• Verify that products meet engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Identify, record, and report defects, non-conformances, or quality concerns.
• Work closely with production teams to resolve quality issues and prevent recurrence.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality management procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area.
Essential
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to follow inspection procedures and work instructions.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic computer literacy for recording inspection results.
• Ability to work independently and make objective quality decisions.
Desirable
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or quality inspection environment.
• Experience using inspections aids, gauges, fixtures or other inspection tools.
• Knowledge of quality standards and manufacturing processes.
Early Shift:
Monday-Thursday 6:00am-2:30pm, Friday 6:00am-12:30pm
Back Shift:
Monday-Thursday 2:30pm-11pm, Friday 12:30pm-7pm
Please note that we reserve the right to move to 3 shifts, with consultation.
