Strengthening Connections with Leading Manufacturer, Caterpillar

It’s been a busy month of interactions with Caterpillar (CAT).

Firstly, we were delighted to welcome four representatives from the Senior Leadership Team at CAT Peterlee to our facility. This visit was part of our regular meetings to reinforce our partnership through a site tour and strategic discussions regarding performance and future operations.

The visit also provided a fantastic opportunity to demonstrate the progress we are making on the shopfloor through our integrated systems and automation capabilities. The CAT team commented positively on the cleanliness and organisation of the shopfloor, noting that they could clearly see how the procedures and automation we have in place contribute to our strong performance metrics. This feedback reinforces the value of our focus on maintaining high standards, operational discipline and continuous improvement.

Receiving highly positive feedback from the CAT team has given us further confidence in our partnership. It also provided a constructive steer on where we should continue to develop our capabilities.

Attending the Caterpillar Regional Supplier Summit

From the 6th – 7th October, CAT hosted its regional supplier summit in London. Group Managing Director, David Greatorex, and Senior Account Manager Lead, Neil Bell, were in attendance, along with more than 100 suppliers from across Europe.

It was encouraging to hear a consistent message throughout the summit that CAT expects a very strong period of growth over the next 3–5 years. The leadership team shared their vision for resilience and outlined what they expect from partners to support this rising demand.

As always, there was a great flow of discussion and ideas with a focus on maintaining strong relationships. Something we’re proud to continue to foster.
