Initially you will work on the dayshift to undertake a period of training, following which you will move onto a 2-shift rotation.
You must have experience and knowledge of working on hydraulic and mechanical power press machines.
You will be familiar with Amada, Aida or similar power press ranging from 90 to 200 tonnes with the ability to use general measuring equipment, vernier, protractor, set square etc.
You must be able to work independently which will include the changing of tooling, setting of the machine, operating the machine and checking parts.
Knowledge of working to and understanding engineering drawings is essential in both first and third angle projection.
The ability to work unsupervised is essential.
